Emotional wellbeing
Pre-birth acuneedling is commonly offered weekly from around 37 weeks, depending on your individual circumstances. Sessions usually involve resting comfortably on your side or seated while the needles remain in place for around 20 minutes.
Moxibustion for breech babies
Moxibustion uses a warming herb called moxa, traditionally applied near an acupuncture point on the little toe. It is commonly used between 34–36 weeks to encourage babies in a breech or transverse position to move into a more optimal position for birth.
Where suitable, I can provide treatment and teach you how to safely continue moxibustion at home.
